Using setacctime in an instance
« on: 07 Jul 2003, 15:30:37 »
Is there any way to setacctime to jump say 1 week in game time in just an instance?

I'm asking this just as a mess around type of thing because it enables time travel into the future...

setacctime means the players will continue on as normal whereas skiptime just moves time on and not the players.

I tried setting setacctime to something ridiculous like 2,000,000 but it just made play impossible.

Cheers.

All skiptime does is just move on the time, and not gameply;

settacctime moves on the gameply as well as time, so, if you set a guy off to walk from one end of an island to the other then setting settacctime to a higher amount will make him do it quicker, skiptime won't make him move any quicker but will just make time move on.
