Making civillians join your squad

How can you make a civil. join your squad? - I want to use it in a 'Hostage Rescue' mission im making and want the hostage to be decked out like a civil.

name your group by typing   yourgroup = group this   in its leader's init field
name the civilian and the use a trigger or what ever and type in it's activation field

[civilname] join yourgroup

but the following stuff may be of some help too.

Say, ya wanna free the good guys, but ya don't wanna make 'em join ya till you're there & have killed the guard(s)  

Then all ya need is a simple trigger, like this:


Let the radius cover the tent/prison building/-area, then hit F2 and drag a grouping line from trigger to YOU (player-hero).  
Now, in the "On Activation" field of the trigga, put arty's code, and there... the moron will join ya as soon as you walk into his prison.
