custom sounds wont play

 :DI created some sounds with my microphone and used some text to speech synthesizers to record some voices for a conversation.  I converted the sounds to .OGG

 :'(When I tell them to play, I just get text on the screen, not the noise.  I even messed around with the volume and pitch, still no success.

What is the matter?
