How do I script an action???
« on: 02 May 2003, 19:02:02 »

Simple!!

I dont know how to use an action command???

I hate it, have been trying to make use of the action command...

Does the command not work og is it just me???

According to LustypoohÂ's manual the script is---

aP action ["action", "target", "param1", "param2", "param3"]

No matter what I do, it does not seem to work...

Does anybody have an example that works, or please explain how it works??

For instance how to make a guy drop his weapon using  :   Guy action ["dropweapon", guy]

Actions can be tricky - the syntax for some remains unknown.

Assuming you are sure that the action dropweapon exists, search the FAQ and the forums to see if somebody has discovered the syntax.   Your question is here so maybe somebody who knows will see it.

Could it be drop weapon rather than dropweapon?   And I would have thought that the target would be the weapon, not the unit.   You certainly have to specify which weapon somewhere, given that a loon can carry up to five of them.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play
