The lying trigger
« on: 30 Apr 2003, 01:49:57 »
Hi,

I've made a trigger : East Not Present>Show text 'Objective 1 complete'

The problem is...It will show 'Objective 1 compelete' even when the East units are still inside the area. This is quite annoying since they always seem to crawl out of nowhere and shoot me when my backs turned. The trigger radius is 1000 x 1000 and the east units are men + they're in the centre of the trigger, so they can't run out and run back unto the area to shoot me. Anyone any ideas?

Hi,

I've made a trigger : East Not Present>Show text 'Objective 1 complete'

are those commands in the condition feild of the trigger? looks like it

if so change it back to true and go up to where it says "None" or whatever and change that to East and click Not Present

then go into "Effects" (button is on bottom left corner of trigger) and at bottom of that you can change that to Text and put in the text "Objective 1 complete"

i always use this and it always works for me :) just make sure nothing but the enemy at Objective 1 is in the trigger zone

Lol, no they are'nt commands in the trigger INIT, i just said it that way to make it simpler, or so I thought.

East
Not Present

*Effects - text "Objective one complete"*

Anyone any ideas, it'll say objective one complete even if east units are still in the trigger area
