Bell 212 and 412
« on: 05 Apr 2003, 23:57:48 »
As stated. these would be a nice addon for the civies. You could have a search and rescue one, health flight one, and even a charter one. But I think that the one thing ofp is missing the most is civilians. It is supposed to be on inhabited islands but with only like 10 dif. guys and 5 dif. women it don't seam like that. Hey maybe a civi mod where they make new kids and women and vehicles like fire trucks okay blabering on now. But anyone think this is a good idea for an addon? That is the bell 212 and 412

As you can see there is no interior yet.. but that will change. The only difference between the 212 and 412 is that the 412 has the 4 rotor blades instead on 2. You could also use this as a UH-1n if you took the 2 extra blades off!

Thats cos it is ;)

Story of evolution:

Huey (engines, rotors and parts of fuselague)
Bell model 206 (Jet and Long Ranger) Primarily a civilian helo, but used by the military
OH-58A Kiowa
Military version being the Bell 212 (Twin balded rotor)
OH-58D Kiowa Warrior
Bell model 412 (4 bladed rotor, improved engines and avionics - an upgrade of the 212)

Bloody confusing this helicopter malarky isnt it?

UH-1A
UH-1B
UH-1C
UH-1D
UH-1E
etc etc.........

All related heavily to our friends the:

Bell 204 (fraid thats the only one i really know, not really that up on my civie helo knowledge i'm afraid, if you want to find out more then the Bell website (no idea but i'm guessing www.bell.com) would be a good place to start.

But yes, that is looking really quite nice, you texturing yourself or getting outside help? A good UH-1N is lacking but i agree, civie stuff is really ignored, although Martin (Civie OH-13, Speed boat and upcoming Bell 206 Jet Rangr) is really holding the fort in high quality civie addons, WE NEED MORE
