Any idea how I stop a guy from goin "ARRRGH" when he dies? so he makes no sound at all

nah it for my script, i keep em alive but they think they died fer a split second. lol

maybe they could just be screaming at their near death experience, or under the stresses of combat ::)

Kill him with setdammage and he won't even whistle:
? getdammage GUYTOBEKILLED > 0.1: GUYTOBEKILLED setdammage 1

Thanks for your reply MorMel

I was using event handlers to keep both player and AI immortal even in MP situation cause eventhandlers act faster than game in checking on your health.

But Ive now found a way in my script to prevent the player or AI from dying without the event handlers resetting them back to dammage 0 so its cool.

Your idea of getdammage is good but its no where near fast enuff to counter an eventhandler.

Anyways I solved the issue (i hope) so I guess I should close this thread
