blow that radiotower to hell and back

I have a mission I'm working on where the player is in the role as a black op, who's assignment is to blow up a radio tower..

My problem is (very basic for you I guess) how do I get OFP to check if the radio tower has been blown up?
I've tried to use a trigger with the getdammage commande... but I only got more confused  :-[

you can use the ID of the radiotower in the editor.

I.E = 1223456 getdammage > 0.9

thanx for the advice Ace :)

but the thing is that the radio tower is an addon i've downloaded and I guess it hasn't got a ID number...

I called the radio tower MyTower...

And I'm a newbie when it comes to conditions.. so If someone could please explain this for me...

I have a radio tower addon too.  I'll try some things and let you know what works.

O.K., here's what I did.

I placed the radio tower and named it: tower

I then made a trigger with: tower getdammage >1
in its condition field and in the Effects Text I wrote: It Worked

Next I blew it up with a stachel charge.

"It Worked" appeared just as it should have.

So, "tower getdammage >0" should work for you.  "tower" is whatever you want to name the radiotower and the "1" is how much dammage it takes before setting off the trigger.  "0" is healthy and "1" is totally destroyed.  So ">0" means anything except completely healthy.

If you have Resistance, click on IDs (I think .... right hand side of the mission editor, near "Preview") and zoom right in.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play

I've tried the getdammage with the ID numbers, but It screws up...

Anyone who want to explain how I do that for me in a simple way
