Skip time, does it?
« on: 23 Feb 2003, 03:15:31 »
Hey

I was wondering if, say I skipped ahead 4 hours, would that effect the timeing in say, a waypoint?
Like, say I had a way point for a guy to say there and then go somewhere, and I skipped time to 4 hours later, would he be somewhere else because of the time change? or would he still move 10 seconds later according to the normall time........................if you get what I mean  :-\

No.

Basically skipTime affects only the time of day and the environment. It is different to setAccTime where is affects the time in 'realtime' (if that makes sense).

The only change you will notice with skipTime is the colour of the sky and the ambient brightness. And of course if you look at your watch, it will have skipped ahead, (or backward). All the objects in the game stay where they are.
