how to set default altitude for a unit?

I played a airborne mission, and start from a very high ground, I wonder how to do this? any script or command available?

Assuming telling a plane or chopper that its flying is not enough;

This Setpos [Getpos This Select 0, Getpos This Select 1, 100 ]

That final number is the height above ground.

with 1.9 you can use unit flyinheight alt. Where unit is the unit you want to set the height of and alt. the height you want the unit to fly at. icarus is also true.

You could do that in 1.0 as well as 1.9 btw.
