WWII US Army Units- Please god make them so!!!!!

Where are the/any US Army soldiers. I cant find any anywhere at all. We've got at least 6 WWII mods under construction and 3 US paratrooper packs, and another under construction, but not even 1 US Army soldier. The backbone of the army and they are non-existant in the world of OFP.

Not even Invasion 1944 has made plans to make them. Poor captain ryan has to use paratroopers for his dday mission, and I cant simulate a mechanized assault cos paras arnt mechanized - theyre airborne.

So please, this is the request from a disappointed mapper who is sick to death of different mod teams repeating themselves - bless us with an O2 us army soldier (preferably not changing models and still using Lawries army skin - wasnt very realistic, too brown)

Hrm there has been a lot of requests for this now - and it's gone too far. I'll look into it with my boys over at WWIIEC (www.ww2ecteam.com) and see if I can get help with making them. Of course I need to get the Winter Wehrmacht troops done first.

Other request, whe deffenedly need also Brittish para and infantry also tanks, they did have major role in Normandy and holland ;)god i love to aim with my Enfield

Have you not seen our screenshots Pertti? We're working on 1st Airborne Regiment as we speak. And damn fine they look too. Also, Vibes is working of a Cromwell tank, and there is already an M3A4 Sherman, so, what are you complaining about? I'm jumping for joy (Being British)

It was request and not complain my friend and havent seen ready any of those units than Sherman, how abouth like Matilda or Churchill serie?

CAN I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE! Okay, I have solved my own problem and made some US army infantry soldiers. I have used the WWIIEC's 101st Airborne model, converted it (eg. getting rid of the chinstrap and bloused trousers, got ride of parachute and gave them a haversack), and changed the textures to Lawries WWII army textures. Theyre not so bad when you get rid of the 1985 webbing.

I'm going to have the US Infantry Soldiers, with ranks and everythings, and also the Rangers. For more info check out my post:
