Log In Issues?
« on: 13 Jan 2003, 23:12:51 »
I am trying to determine the extent of log-in problems.

Please help me out by letting me know if you experience log in issues.

I advise everyone to use IE 6.0 or Netscape 7.0 (?), because there is advanced javascript used in this forum (and site wide).

Mozilla just doesn't cut it, unfortunately :(

Everything here is written in PHP, and use the PHP cookie reading/writing methods. Again, only newer browsers support this.

Please describe in detail your log in problems if you have any.

Cheers :-*

If you do tick option 2,3 or 4, please reply with a brief description of the problem and which one you ticked so i can try and fix these things up ;)

Its only me, snYpir, and we're already dealing with it. :)

I was bored and thought I might as well add some factual variety to the poll. ;)

Wait a minuite... 92 % of people selected option 1 ,7 % of people chose option 3 and no-one else voted...
92 + 7 does not = 100. So where has the other 1% gone?
 ??? ??? ??? ???

Well... I'm sure you're aware of the probs I was having......

and my only fix was to use netscape 7.0 as my browser....

must have been something to do with the php cookies, because
when I set my browser to prompt me whenever any cookie was
trying to be saved , I never got a cookie from OFPEC.

Not a huge deal.... but I was using IE 6.0 at the time as well.....
