Barrett M82A1

This weapon has been made several times before.  There have been numerous Pre-O2 reskins, and a couple semi-decent new models.  There was also FliPeR's which is probably the best of the bunch, although the textures could have used some work and it is not compatible with the newest game version.

The M82 fits very well into Operation Flashpoint, whether for disabling unarmored vehicles or horribly mutilating soldiers.  Is anyone working on a new version of this weapon?

I'm not sure where you are coming from, here. As you said yourself theres already a handfull of M82A1's as well as the M99, and several other designs with excellent textures have been made for OFP. My personal favorite is the JMG version.
