Getting a PLane TO Take Off

How can i get a plane (F-14 TOMCAT) take off from a taxiway (on Everon) and fly ot the destination point? Whenever i try the retarded thing doesnt even take off, it runs into a M113 patrol and gets hit and explodes!

Place plane on taxiway.

Place a single waypoint from plane on taxiway to eventual destination.

AI will send it through all the motions of taxiing and take-off by itself and fly it to destination.
