If you search for 'drop' and 'fire' then you can use the new stuff from Res to make better looking fires.

Anyhow, in the good ol' 1.46 (normal Flashpoint), you can place a fire, but if you light it up there will inevitably be smoke. The solution to this would be a custom addon with some kind of flare-effect, although the light I'm not too sure about. I think perhaps Gunslingers has a bunch of assorted such effects, so if you have Gunslingers you might consider taking a looky there. But that's really a patchwork solution. No "official" way though.

As to Resistance, I'm sure it has alot of goodies (someone mentioned drop commands?). I don't know though, but I was hoping one of you fine Resistance-owning lads could help out this person in need?

Hey, WAIT! ........here in the addons depot theres a small addon called  CATSfire or something like that? i dled it and it had flames with no smoke, BOB.....go get it....could be useful for Nam missions with napalm.
