JOINT EDITING
« on: 20 Nov 2002, 22:08:17 »
Please tell me there is a way to edit a mission and then send that to someone else for them to add to that editing!
My brother and I are working on a massive war/mission and I need to trim down his triggers with "and" and "or" arguments

Just go in your user dir-
users/yourname/missions/missionname.islandname
then zip the folder up and send it to someone else.. they can unzip and put the folder in there users dir..

Thank you. Is it necessary to zip the folder?

Nope, but it does make it easier, considering a missions often consist of scripts, briefings & overviews, maybe sound and music...well, a mess :D That is, un-packed (un PBO'ed). And packing it isn't really and option if you want to continue editing on it, so...

then just unzip the thing, make sure the folder name's got all the extensions right and so forth...  :P

Ain't really the forum for these kinds of things, but you got your answer so all's well, nyah?

Happy editing!  ;D
