There's no such thing as a stupid question but...
« on: 01 Oct 2002, 09:36:24 »
I have just decided to get into the editing side of things and create my own missions and have come up with a problem. I have no idea how to get a man to start out in a watchtower or similar! Any help greatly appreciated.

place the unit over the guard tower and if he is directly below it try this code

this setpos [getpos this select 0, getpos this select 1, (getpos this select 2) +5]

that puts him up 5 feet.  just mess around and find the right height.  also it can be a point number like 3.7

anyays have fun with this code :)

Welcome to the forums, Smoshy

I suggest you check out the Editor's Depot and the Editing FAQ.

There you'll find a lot of frequently asked questions by newer editors (and some of us not so new ;))
