Texturing faces in 02 light
« on: 23 Apr 2007, 11:02:18 »
Hi!

IÂ'm getting started texturing in Oxygen/Buldozer. My goal itÂ's try tu put my own face in the head of a soldier, but the result isÂ'nt quite good.

I use the gizmo mapping but I donÂ't know how the UV mapping works. Do you know other program compatible with oxygen which works with UV map?

Can you help me?

Thanks a lot in advance.

wouldn't it be a lot easier if you took a head model which is already mapped and then just edit the texture....

I'd agree with remcen on that.It would indeed be a lot simpler.
Also,if you use a custom face texure with it's own mapping,
any instances of your model are stuck with that texture.

In other words you'd need scripting to get the faces to
cycle randomly,per soldier.Something like lauma's head
models.

So for now,it's probably best to stick with editing the standard
faces.
