Lessen my typing without scripting! Help please!

  As far as scripting goes, I'm a dipshit.

Sooooo, heres a question.

I'm making a stunt map.  As special effects I wan't smoke, explosions, etc.

So, when I do things in the on activation field, is there any way to lessen it?

So instead of

boom = "maverick" camcreate [getpos.... ETC ETC

Is there any way for me to make it so that it groups to more than one empty object?

I have everything being created over buried MG's, I name them things like A1 A2 what not.  So can I just type something in there that will make the trigger have the same effect to all these empty objects without having to copy and paste, then change one part of the line.  Then do it again chaing the names of what I want the getpos to be.

Well, you don't need to be a great scripter to create explosions, you don't even need to script Considering there're already ready scripts (altillery, smoke screens and whatnot) available in the Snippets section. In suggest you browse through there first for some ready-made scripts...who knows, you might even learn something

But no, when using triggers and in-game commands, you're bound to be up against alot of writing. Remember that scripts are really just an infinately simpler way of doing everything....if you've mastered the on Activation and Condition fields, scripting itself should be no problem Just download a tutorial or three, and you'll learn in no time. Trust me on this one.
