Cant hear sounds

Hi (again)

I want a car to play an alarm sound, but I cant get an ogg to play. I have tested the ogg via a trigger effects, and playsound, and the ogg dosent play for either of them.

I know that the sample rate is 16000 mono, but i have also tried others.

All help apreciated.

Also, is it really possible to make sounds play in breifing using the following line in description.ext?

It seems a good feature, but ive never seen it in a map so im not sure if its right.

Have you tried a working .ogg file to make sure it's the ogg file that's causing the problems and not a mistake in your description.ext?

I think that there's some working sound files in other threads (example missions) you can use. If you can't find any, you can always dePBO an official mission and use one of those ogg files.

i think it actualy is 14000 mono.

16000 works for me, but it could be that there are more possible samplerates. It is mono for sure.
