« on: 04 Jan 2006, 14:37:21 »
When i make a model e.g. a model of a building, and then place the textures on, for some reason they have this wierd lighting all over them that shoes up in game also, can anyone tell me if there is a way of stopping this, as i have noticed this dosent show up on other addons, im presuming it is somthing that can be changed in Oxygen :)

Looks like you need to use the sharp/smooth edging functions in the appropriate places.

If an edge is supposed to be sharp (like the corner of a building, then select the edge and then use 'sharp edge' from the Surfaces menu.

Use 'smooth edge' when you don't need a sharp edge.

You could also try and hit F5 in O2, to recalculate the normals.

since that building is mostly sqaure you can just select whole model and press "u"
