okay i know theres about 100 posts on description.ext files not working but ive got a problem with my description.ext file nothing in it seems to get read i get a message saying canot find message patrols wich is the first radio message in the game then after that i dont get any radio messages again
the onloadmission doesnt get read either nor does my custom fonts at the bottom i did add a sound file then it didnt work so i took out that class and it still doesnt work

it should be all right but it isnt i dont get any messages wich send me to the desktop or anything like that

Are you sure your description.ext file has the correct file extension? If not, then check this:

http://www.granneman.com/techinfo/windows/showextensions/

Make sure the file extension really is .ext and not .txt or anything else.

And also take in notice that everytime you change something in the description.ext file, you have to reload the mission in the editor to see the changes.

yep im 100% sure the file name is right also you dont need to reload the mission saving works too

A few general comments:

Baddo is right.  if you change description.ext then you need to reload the mission in the editor for the changes to take effect

1)  I would put name = ""
2) Should you not have a number after db?


Are you using:
sideRadio "patrols"
 or other Radio command?  If you are using loon say "patrols" or playsound "patrols" then you will get a not found message.

Are you sure the description.ext is in the correct folder?

I think we need more information.

i managed to get it working now i just put everything back to front so the bottoms at the top and the tops at the bottom it worked anyway thanks for trying though
