Ricocheting Tracer

Does anyone know if it is possible to have the effect of ricocheting tracers. If anyone has seen a machine gun fired at night they'd know what I was talking about.

Cheers

Yeah.. Like a tracer hits the ground, and flys up..
I have no idea how it would be done though..
Drop command I suppose

After doing a search to see if anyone has already worked up my lastest idea (nothing is new under the sun when a game has been out for five odd years), I came across this thread...

I have done a script that does a few things:

It creates spiffy 'dual layered' particles for tracers (brighter centers).

It will do them every three rounds if a weapon is not configed properly for the ammo command (the BAS M240B and SPW M249 both have a bug).

For weapons that are properly set up, you can custom configure the tracer load out (like we do in real life). Currently, it is set up to fire tracers for the first round out, then every three rounds, and the final three rounds are all tracer to give you a cue the mag is out.

Oh, and did I mention it will let you set it up to automatically switch tracer color if you go from red to green or vice versa? It does.

And there is a chance (about 70%) that the tracer will ricochet nicely in the air.

The suprisingly small script is complete, all I have to do is clean it up a bit and do up a BIS default Demo Mission.  You will have this posted early tommorow afternoon (would be sooner, but believe it or not I do have a life outside OFP...or at least that is what my wife tells me LOL!)

Theres already a script that does this, it's included in Y2K3 mod :P
Also, theres a year gap between the last two posts :P
Going to have a look at this though, the one Y2k3 uses is okay, but it could be a lot better.
I guess it works okay in MP?
