I must say, Roni's idea is great. it's a dimension of OFP that is possible, but i believe has not been explored...

I noticed something the other day, when you're falling you can run in the sky

which is a great thing to use in cutsceens with AI by using play move and simulating them falling off a cliff or somthing.

the running can look like flaling around like sombody would do if they fell off a cliff

Okay - I see the link !  Here's the mission -

Six players, 20,000 feet, one parachute.  Each player has a "knife attack" addaction and a continuous script running that allows them to slightly change their facing or rate of descent via the usual mouse movements.  Because OFP does not allow actions while falling I may have to create an invisible vehicle to carry them as they fall, with the scripts attached . . .   :hmm:   :joystick:

Players will have to fight each other with knife swings as they're falling - if you can kill the guy with the parachute then you can put it on, but this will take a few seconds and a number of keystrokes (  :hmm:  ) so while you're putting the chute on you may have to stop to fend off your fellow fallers attentions.    :help:

And just for fun, if you stop putting on the chute to fend of an attack there may be a small chance that you might "drop" it, making it owned by nobody !   :noo:

Total mission length to be around 90 seconds.  End result will be 5 or 6 pretty splatter patterns and up to one cigar smoking parachutist.  Extra points for landing on Angelina or General Guba, or the one strategially placed trampoline . . .  :D

Okay, who's going to script this ?   ;D

I have an idea:

how about instead of the old "beat up the evil soviets" storyline, you play as a FIA member. the only change is: the FIA for some reason now loves the russians and hate the americans. it would put an interesting twist on three well known sides.

Already been done, although not too often.

Play Retaliation campaign, it puts a new perspective on the 1985 conflict. :)

I already thought about fighting in the air for a parachute but would it be possible? OFP is terrible with close combat and it would be a VERY hard job!
