Break off waypoint

Hi I'm new to these forums so my question has probably been answered already. I have been playing and editing on my own for ages but now I need help from the people with the know how.

My question is this. How do I have a set load of waypoints for AI which, if i activate a trigger, become a completely different set of waypoints?

I have some guys standing around who run and man positions if i set off a trigger. If my guy sets off a diversion however, I want those same guys to ignore the man positions waypoints and instead, get into trucks which then drive away.

Easy.   Use a switch trigger.   Tute in the Editors Depot.   (Link at the top of this page.)   You can set up as many waypoint sequences as you like and make them happen in any order as many times as you like.

Example.  When trigger2 is fired the group will go straight to waypointC1 no matter where they are, provided of course that trigger2 is type switch.

waypointA1
waypointA2
waypointA3 <------ snychro with switch trigger1: goto sequence B
waypointB1
waypointB2
waypointB3 <------ snychro with switch trigger2: goto sequence C
waypointC1
etc.
