Pronounciation is inconsistent even within BIS sound files. I suspect they just left it up to the actors.
All the place names (at least all the ones I've checked) are real, although not all where you would expect. If you really wanted to do it right, I'd recommend finding the places, google your way to international phone books, and ring the post office in each town to ask them how they pronounce it. This would look very impressive in your readme. You could then record sound files of the correct pronounciation and put them in the Ed Depot for everybody's benefit. ;D
La Trinite [sur mer] is in Brittany: there is an acute accent on the final e which would make it trinit-ay. Vigny is just outside Paris. I'm with ACF on this one, although I suppose it might be Vee-gnay with the weight on the Vee and a hard but ephemeral g.
