How do you open up the Nogova Island and all its textures in visitor?

I plan to make a modified nogova for one of my multiplayer missions.

Noe.pbo, which is in Res\Addons, contains Nogova and its textures.

You will need to Depbo it.

I unpboed it, I get 3 files.

I get a config.bin file, a noe.hpp file, and a noe.wrp file.

Where do I go from here?

Sorry I was wrong about the textures...... ;D

They are actually in the root of O.pbo.

The noe.wrp is the Nogova island .wrp file, but I'm not sure if Visitor will load it.

It will load into WrpEdit......and possibly WrpTool also.

I seem to recall that some editing is needed before it will load into WrpEdit though.

But the textures are, as I said in O.pbo.

Wrpedit error message

I ditched visitor, it is too messy and I find it's reliability questionable, plus it cant open wrp files.  So I switched to wrpedit.  Man is it good!

One problem:

Where do you get the nogova models that wrpedit complains it cant load (see error message and log output screenshot)?

Ah yes........WrpEdit cant read the O.pbo.

It needs to be slightly edited before WrpEdit can read it.

Then its a case of replacing the normal O.pbo with your edited one when you want to run Noe.wrp through WrpEdit.

Just don't forget to replace the original when you want to play Resistance.

I will look out my dusty files to get the exact details on what edits are needed to O.pbo.

That's a WRPtool error msg, check the icon on the output.log file.  ;)

1) did you unpack all the pbo's using Amfali's unpbo 1.51 or PBOx?

2) Your config settings are most likely screwed up.

If you unpbo the pbo's to c:\dump, so you have c:\dump\abel, c:\dump\o, etc, your settings need to be c:\dump in WRPtool.
