mouth movement question

I'm trying to get a cutscene character to move his mouth while a caption displays...i'm not using any sound or voice sound..just trying to get the mouth animation.

where would I need to look to find this info?

Copy a soundfile and a LIP-file from any other mission. Make your unit "say" the name of the soundfile. In the description.ext you set the volume of the sound to -360 db (or whatever) and your loon will move his without any sound being heard.

Or you can make the soundfile just a silent, 1 second file, which will be smaller in size and there is no chance of it being heard. Plus you can make copies of it so you can have different lip files, but you won't make your mission file large.

Note that a lip file doesn't have to come from the same sound file that is used with it.
