NATO has always used different symbols to indicate units as: Mechanised Infantry, Artillery, Engineers ect. Does any one know if The Warsaw Pact used something simular, and were I can find something about it?

Theese are great but I belive they are Allied symbols. I'm not sure however the Warsaw Pact used exactly theese symbols during the cold war.

This is off-topic I'm afraid. If you have an editing or scripting question, feel free to post it in this board.
As for your question, my advice is to google it.
