Civillian Contractors
« on: 05 Sep 2004, 21:42:59 »
After watching a little footage of Special Forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.... I've noticed a few things.  Some of the forces don't have uniforms, they are wearing civillian, dreary arab clothing. It seems these individuals have not been represented so far for OFP, so why not now.

I'm just curious what everyone else thinks....

So .. . . do you mean like civilian army type things? (civvlis with guns and grenades and junk).

Well, its not un-doable. Just make a few civvis, make a US or EAST guy, make probability of presence 0% and group the civis to him. Easy. I didnt come up with this, I cant remember who told me about it.

Hope this helped.

(p.s. hows the M4 guns coming alon?)

They're the guys with the guns....

(The M4's are coming along fine, just some config work... and I'm trying to learn things like animated parts, hidden selections, etc.)

you could do that like this
Class Civillian_Contractor1 : Civilian
{
    side = TEast;
    acceracy = 1000; //never id as east
};
Class Civillian_Contractor2 : Civilian
{
    side = TWest;
    acceracy = 1000; //never id as east
};
You may want to check the spelling though

I understand configs.... this is pertaining to the units themselves, ie. the models and textures.
