Wow looks fantastic Lawrie. With the universal weapons pack, can I make a few requests (they are minor modifications on the default weapons).

M1C Rifle - its a sniper version of the garand
M1D Rifle - another sniper version of the garand
M1903A3 - the revised version of the springfield without scope
the one with the scope is called the M1903A4
but the USMC used this one when the garands ran out
M1A1 Carbine - para version
M1928 Thompson - cmon, we wont some Gangsta action between Japs
                               and the Marines
Gewehr 98 - the old version of the Karabiner 98K, was brought out
                    of retirement in 1943

Who made them hehe *blushes* just liddle ol' me

Expect a lot of other nice res vehicles and units (but dont worry guys they'll have decent lods)

No fotochopping here all original (bad the odd badge thats blended into artwork) Expect history to come before political correctness and the inclusion of several famous military and political leaders in the pack. The pack will be in a few zips i thinks to differentiate their differences (ie wehrmarcht, wss and support crews etc)

Im glad u like the textures tho

Wow! The WWII OFP scene is really progressing in 2003.

We welcome the 5/1/2003, May of 2003 as the official month of WWII ofp progression. And with the announcement of OFP2, we know we can import our future work and it will not be wasted

well lawrie since this is a tatical warfare simulator, not too many "politcally correct" German historical figures are needed. You could make Goebel, Goering and hitler for my "Der Fuhrers Face" song, and maybe just a 'generic' field marshall and 'generic' Nazi offizier

When der Fuhrer says "Vie ist der master race"
Vie "heil", Vie "heil, right in the Fuhrer's face
Not to love that Fuhrer is a great disgrace
Vie "heil", Vie "heil, right in the Fuhrer's face

When Herr Goebel says "Vie own der world und space"
Vie "heil", Vie "heil, right in Herr Goebel's face
When Herr Goering says "They will not bomb this place"
Vie "heil", Vie "heil, right in Herr Goering's face

Are vie not der super-men, Aryan-pure super-men?
(echo) Ya vie are der super-men, Super-duper-super-men!

Ist this Nazi land so gut, vould you leave it if you could?
(echo) Ya this Nazi land ist gut, vie vould leave it if we could

Sorry, could not resist
And North Africa German troops would be appreciated Laws, cos my upcoming Aussies need someone to battle at Tobruk ;)

(Not to love that Fuhrer is a great disgrace)

lol well not to sound defeatist but i presume marfy will have the DAK troops covered (tho we might be waiting a while as he takes immense time completing his work) - that hence leads to immensely wonderful units.

I might have a go tho for spot of fun of doing a brief basic conversion *shrugs*

Slight Correction. The tanks are not made by lawrie but by Vibes' of WWIIEC. Lawrie was given permission to retexture and release them so long as appropiate credit is given....
