Sim this is a valid editing question, you could go to the recruitment depot.... :-\ Its your choice Willie, I think you could have this solved here.
I'll look at some of my old stuff to see what I remember about campaigning.
I think I can answer your waypoint Qs willie.
1.) Well certain waypoints are completed faster then others, a heli get in wp has a larger completion radius I think. Well you can make delays in there though. Put your editor on advanced and look at the waypoint menu. There should be a timeout or countdown thing already squared off. Leave it, go to the little max middle and min boxes and insert your delays in seconds. You can make an exact time by making every box have the same number or have it vary like
min=5 mid=7 max=9
this way the amount in secs might be anywhere from 5-9.
Waypoints don't skip, they just when completed go to the next one. If you want to know when they are completed then put this in the init or intialization field
hint "Waypoint completed"
When the waypoint is complete the message will show up, and this is useful for testing triggers.
2.) First off helis are not your friend unless they blow up that evil T80 or M1A1 that slaughtered your whole team. Choppers are very hard to work with sometimes.
Your answer is to have your chopper have a load waypoint and after that you can put move or whatever.
The infantry squad should be given a get in waypoint near the load wp. Then hit F5 and make a synchronization line between the waypoints. The chopper will land and ppl will get in. If you want the chopper to land in a specific spot or close to it then go into empty:objects:H or H (invisible)
The chopper will be more inclined to put down there.
Hope it helps.
