Why not do a paintball script. There was one in the BIS desert island real paintball mission. Use paintball damage textures when you get hit? I also think a addon for paintball guns was out at .CZ.

Yeah I tried it out and it was not bad, I didn't see any paint though. :(  It did kill a guy in 400 shots and had an ok sound to it. Ohh yeah the only other bad thing was it had sights like a Kozclice. :(

A paintball mod would be fun and good for multiplayer.
If you could change the effect the bullet makes from a small brown spot to whatever color and make the guns your golden. Some new gear is in order too.

For missions you would need an event handler that took in when someone got hit like three times to be the referee and take the person out and drag him back to the start until whatever, you'd have to set the mission parameters.

I like this idea, its better than using XM177E2s and AK74s where you die and thewn respawn.

Hmm.. The blood/hits stuff is in the data.pbo
Maybe that can be modified, to look like paint spats

What would you want to happen when the person gets hit with a paint ball?

The paintball gun on OFP.info was a Marauder (Not spelt right, I think)
It used a really low power bullet, that hardly hurt someone.. Give everyone a hit eventhandler, and make that run a script that makes them do what every they are supposed to do when they're hit (Walk to a safe zone?)

Look for a MILES script in the editors depot.. It has the basics..

Dunno really about the hit textures, though.
Maybe a new paintballer unit, with new hit textures? THen no data.pbo mod needed :)
