hello!!how to add new unit in the mod rts 3??the files to change??thx

Yikes.

Well, open each file and try searching for "createvehicle" and "createunit" along with "camcreate".

If it is in PBOs, try to de-PBO them and then look inside the scripts.

I believe he wants to add new units to RTS.

Lets say, he has a cool addon chopper that he wants to add to some factory menu in RTS, so the players can buy it.

At least that is what I assumed when writing my anwer. He has to look how some specific vehicle (e.g. "AH64 Apache") is handles in the RTS scripts and then has to add HIS new unit the exact same way.

Yikes...

Since most (all) of the RTS mods use dialogs, you will also have to modify those.

You are going to need some knowledge of scripting and general OFP file editing if you're going to pull this off: Head over to the editors depot (link at the top of this page), and look for some scripting/ dialog editing tutorials.

You may also want to contact the creator of the RTS 3 mod. I'm sure whoever it is will be able to help you with this.

AFAIK, the creator would be Karrillion or whatever way he spells himself ;)
