A new soviet add on would be cool if they had a smaller weaker helo like the AH1 Cobra. A like using apache against Hinds but we need an equal for the cobra. I know the V-80 works but that piece of crap has very bad balance, a small manever gone bad or a 30mm cannon hit spins you like a top in that thing. Also the rotors look retarded. I like the cannon  and 12 tank buster missiles though.

My big complaint about the apache is vision, it sucks for looking up from 1st person view!
The cobra has great view yet it is much weaker.

Well, what do you propose for the Russians?  I think the Ka-52 (I think) has twin rotor's, so your out of luck.

Maybe a KA60 Kasatka with a weapon platform on it? or I will have to look some heli's up.

By view, I mean piloting the apache with manuel fire on and no gunner or just trying to be a good pilot while the heli is fully tilted forward. ;D

Okay I researched a bit and yes a Ka-52 or 50 ? me thinks
would work. Also check out the MI-28 Havoc. Its like the hind but very scary looking with all 12 anti tank missiles, the 40 35mm rocket pods and one big 30mm cannon sticking out the front. The thing looks like a V-80 without the retarded dual rotor thing and is very armored up.

So any realistic versions out there? Get me links I say please!

1. The havoc is the russian's smallest combat/attack helo
and
2. In real life, the V-80's twin rotors allow it to manuver like nothing else, without worriing about tail rotor damage. I think it would be cool if Russia built a twin-seat version of the V-80, as a single pilot increases the workload of the pilot. this is why the U.S. helos all have two seats

Russia built their helos big and armored to scare the U.S. the hind actually touched off a minor arms race to close a "helicopter gap". Remember, the Afgahns had big trouble with them until the stingers came along!

Aren't the Kasatkas put into two diff catergories.
KA60 is civvi
KA62 is military
Both kasakas have two seats right? for pilot and copilot.

Something close to that.
Alright here's my refined solution, anyone know of a two seat dual main rotor heli like the V80? Or how about a Kasatka with machine gun or PK or something like the UH60MG.

I'm gonna say this once, damn, all add on makers you should look into making some of the helis on the bottom link cause thats one nicely detailed list.

KA60 is miitary version with two seats and it would make a faster manuervering chopper for the east which would make a good add on I think. Mount a PK on there and walla! A decent equal to the blackhawk.

an MI 34 looks like a good canidate for an equal to the OH58 but there is probably like ten other choppers in that list that work.

Seems th soviets have better luck with their V-22 osprey like designs. "Seems" is the key word.

Lastly the Kazan "Military Ansat" looks like the cobra but updated.
