You can modify the initial behaviour of a unit by typing this in her init field ("Initialization" in the box "edit unit" in the editor) : this setBehaviour "safe" (or "aware", or "careless", and so on). Also remember to use the SEARCH function in the forum before posting (I believe that your problem may be common... ;D).

Happy editing !  8)

When a soldier is lying he has either "aware", "combat" or "stealth" behaviour.

Can you use getpos for that?   Not sure.   Try it and see.   Maybe something like

getpos loon1 select 2 < 0.5

for lying down.
