Customized shout sound

Hi I was trying out customized shout sounds where you hit the zero ("0") command key to bring up the RADIO command menu& from there, select 9 CUSTOM.
It works fine for Resistance but when I try using it for Cold war crisis v1.46 I just get the text for the sound file name & static for sound. I dont hear the sound.
Does CWC not support this kind of custom sound?
