Is there a method to target the sun according to the time it is?

I wouldnt of thought that you could do it in a way that the sun is an object so you could say...

player1 target sun

...but maybe if you work out what time the sun rises and falls and make the times in between degrees to elevate sight so that dawn is 0 degrees and dusk is 180 degrees and do some fiddling to aim it decently, cos when the sun is at its highest point it is not always directly above you <--- however this may not even be possible, or if it is only the greatest mathematical brains could figure it out cos i got no clue where to start. Maybe some of you guys could do the leg work, think of it as a challenge (im sure it is possible to acheive but efficient i dont know!!! and easy definately not lol)

Believ me theres a hard work to "catch" the sun! You have to figure on daylight, and watch wheres the sun goes! Then you can create some objects to looking at with camera, like gamelogics or markers! And target them to sun positions! You have to work a little on it, if you want a perfect intro!

If you're doing it for an intro, use the camera.sqs method.

Over on the official forums I vaguely remember reading something about all that stuff - sun, moon, tides, etc..   There are forumulae for working out where they are.

However, given that you know what day it's going to be, you could use camera.sqs to set up some marker points (say on the hour) and then when the camera script is called check the time and interpolate.
