Is it possible to use vehiclechat with a unit that in a vehicle (in cargo) but not a member of the crew of that vehicle?

an example :

You embark a bus and when you approach Petrovice, the busdriver say, "Next stop is Petrovice" with vehiclechat.
I tried it but it doesn't work...

I recall somebody saying before that they had problems with vehicleChat.    Is this MP or SP?    If it's SP it doesn't really matter, the only difference is the colour of the text.

vehiclechat does not work in SP...

 i donno bout MP but it surly not workin in SP

correct... vehicle chat is soley MP for some reason... the best you could try is grouping yourself to the bus driver and use group chat? or why not try normal text at the bottom of the screen...

just some ideas.
