Making a campaign
« on: 09 Nov 2003, 19:50:41 »
??? I really don't know how to "link" single missions in order to make a campaign (the function "merge", in the editor doesn't seem to be the solution...) :noo:

The commands saveStatus and loadStatus are used for this purpose in campaigns........check the Command Reference in the Editors Depot.

Check also for any tutorials that may help you with a campaign.

The merge button adds two missions together - all the units in one are added into the other.   This allows you to create a mission in several discrete segments - which is good for testing - and then combine them when you are ready.

To create a campaign you need to learn about a special file called description.ext (which does lots of other cool stuff as well.)    Tutes in the Ed Depot.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play
