hmmmm

dunno what that is...

but what i use is a program called goldwave (free) and basically using that you can open the wav file froma  cd or whereever, and then save it as .ogg to your missions file.

Although Goldwave may be a little confusing...Try DVPoweramp. Search Google for it and remember to D/L the .ogg plugin.

Does Goldwave need plug-ins to save as .ogg?

nope, goldwave has the ogg format already, goldwave is actually quite simple you have your sound as visual Spikes, or as they're known as Months.  Left Click and right click on the month bar to select an area, left being the left side of the selection, right being the right side.

once selected a certain part, you can play around with the Filters, once your done, export it to .ogg format, if you want it for OFP, make sure you export as a 16 bit 14000 .ogg file.

Or you can just get oggdrop....

get that from http://www.opflashpoint.org/features/ogg_converter.zip

I have goldwave, but I had to download a plug in for .ogg!

I used to use ogg drop had no problems as long as I set the bitrate to 96k bps This was only for music.

When I tried goldwave with the ogg plug in, it only had options for VBR (variable bit rate) and i thought OFP required CBR (constant bit rate) ???

Might just be a case of Operator error ;)

Gonna try it again later today.
