Which version of fraps doesn't work for you guys? It should work unless your system is really really old.

I bought version 2.0 of fraps and it works like a charm. The free version of fraps sucks for recording video, so don't even bother, but it you have a good system fraps 2.0 is great.

Check out this Hidden and Dangerous 2 video I made with fraps...

Hey

WEll, I don't remember, it was a few months ago.
THe problem was that it was recording 2kb files, and I was like, wtf. I found some info which told me to change the resolution of the game. I did that and naturally, it didn't work & it screwed up my graphics in the game.

Hope 1 of these 2 work ;)

PS: If they don't I'll kill ya ;)

You mean 2GB files? yeah it records them uncompressed. You won't find a program that won't record them uncompressed, ebcause compressing the videos on the fly would kill the framerate too much. You've got to procces them with a program like Virtual Dub after you record them - also you can't be using crap operating systems like win98/ME, because the FAT filesystem has a filesize limit of 2GB.

Ok, I tried Fraps (the trial one) and after recording my system couldnt read the avi-file. Nope, its a new system with XP. Maybe you are right, I should try the full version - but you know, buying it for just 1 capture is not really what I would love to do  ;D
