has anyone ever thought of a drawbridge addon?

I have.... lol... It should be possable to. Someone I know made a vehicle depot with working elevators that you could drive on, its pretty much the same concept....

i think it would be cool
being chased or something have a buddy raise the bridge you jump over the other guy falls

or if an island was made allow it to raise and let the big naval addons through

or sabotage missions or about anything

Ok at the moment hes got a whole list of projects, and he is still working on the vehicle depot. I made a suggestion to him about the draw bridges, but I don't know about it... I'll keep you updated...

Dammit kyle you could actually mention my name, then people could request something, the vehicle depot ain't released yet still a few bugs with the surfaces, but i'm planing to take the 8st building and make the elevator animated....although i have many things on the go, if someone wants to help me with some bugs in my vehicle depot i can probally release it within a day or two

ok  prob is that cars seem to crash when driving on the flat roof of the building, and since thats the only way to get to the helipads it kinda sucks, it's like when the jeeps/anything with wheels goes to fast it just hits something, the dam roof works fine for the tracked vehicles and for helo's to land.

and another slight error if there is an infantry guy on the elevator then he will fall through when it goes up UNLESS he is moving or turning, then that little prob seems to be fixed, if anyone can figure out why, i'll make a draw bridge for you guys in my spare time

could you use that little strap-in script thingy like on the often referred to BAS MH47 for the guys and the vehicles

you wouldnt be able to move while it is but how many elevator fights do you think will last till the thing starts moving

lol sorry vagabond.... I didn't think you cared... anyways the elevator works for vehicles but it does have some collision problems on the roof....

the strap in script would be a very good idea for a high speed infantry lift. i'm thinking of starting again for the vehicle depot....so many errors, i'm gonna try and overhaul it now, kyle when you come online we'll do that texturing thingy that we wanted to try
