Cargo Boats
« on: 21 Sep 2003, 22:14:17 »
I'm sure I saw a cargo boat addon somewhere, but the link was fecked. Anyway, has anyone seen a decent cargo boat addon? By cargo boat I mean a boat that carries goods and transports them elsewhere, for selling. I don't mind if it doesn't actually carry things in its cargo, just as long as it moves and looks good. You can always use 'delete/createVehicle' to simulate cargo carrying anyway. It could be useful for smuggling things (drugs or weapons or rubber ducks, you name it). I could use one for my campaign...

That would be the coolest campaign ever! ;D

Flashpoint1982 seem to be making one, I don't think it's done though:

There's an enormous black market for those things, you know. Apparently rubber ducks are indestructable and can travel thousands of miles across the oceans. Just think of the possibilities.

ive seen one by PhilC

it got some really good features like

  • a ramp that you can use to actually stand on the boat (as long as its still) an if you have the CoC divers you can even enter from the water
  • the cargo positions include on deck so it looks liek they are like security guards etc.
  • openable front doors on the boat itself

this is a pretty good boat its a large one  is painted red and has (if i can remember) a yellow star on its smokestack, so to me kinda looks russian an i know u like bein the russians Droz :D

you can get it HERE

Somehow I can't see Drozdov's rebels sneaking down the coast of Malden in that monster :o. It might make a good target for his rebels to sabotage, though...

Is there any small cargo boats out there? That cargo ship liner is just too big, and the deck is just a big white wooden board. I want something fairly small, about the size of a fishing trawler.

Hey Drozdov!

Have you seen the cargo/assault boat made by the EC?

Have a look at our site if not:

http://www.everoncartel.com/news.htm

On the most recent news post, there's a link to download it.  (We haven't updated our news for a loooong time...   ::))

I hope that will work for you!  (We designed it with cargo capacity/transportation in mind)   ;)
