Lightning & Thunder effect.

I want to create the thunder and lighting effect and I already found the thunder sound, but I have no clue how to create the sudden light. I guess is something similar to the effect they use in I44 campaign during the first mission for shells exploding.

Can someone please help?

either go into the weather settings (top right hand corner) and move the top slider from the little sunny picture, to the thundery one.
or
i swear theres a script for it as well, you'll have to dig arond for it though. saw it in the last couple of days

There are commands for weather, like setRain and setOvercast and setFog.

What I mean is I need the sudden light effect of the lighting at a specific moment not randomly.
