Having trouble with original upgrade, help much appreciated

Hi folks, I had to buy a new hd. I reinstalled operation flashpoint 1.20 and
tried the 1.40 upgrade. The upgrade process keeps telling me that the
upgrade file is corrupt and that I should download it again. Well, Ive
downloaded it 3 times and the same thing happens each time. In addition, it
appears to error at a different point in the installation process each time.
Running win98 se.
