IS it possible to make a script where if the enemy detecs the player, the mission is aborted?
Any help would be greatly appreciated...  :)

Sure, make a detection trigger covering the whole island. Group it to the player. You can either end the mission when it's tripped, or fail an objective...your choice. No script necessary for that.
