Murderball

Ok, i play 1.46 so i dont know if anyone has already come up with this in Res.

I used to play a half-life mod called Team fortress classic for about 3 years. And one of the great DM maps TFC had was a map called murderball.

I'm positive it can be converted to OFP. The general idea of the mission is:
Everyone starts in their base at mission start. There is a flag in the middle of the arena. Whoever gets to the flag first gets a point. They have to take the flag down and can do whatever they want with it. The longer they hold the flag, the more points they get. If they get shot by the other teams, the flag returns to the center of the arena. They can go back to their base for protection.

This was tremendous fun in TFC, and i think it could also be in OFP. I'm sure I can make the map, but what i need is help with the scripting. I think it would kind of be a mix between a CTF and C&H script.

Anyone think they could come up with a set of scripts?

Lol, I can just see someone hiding in the middle of the forest 54069875242682576-1987658675429-8671-986 miles away from the battle scene, and everyong complaining they can't find it.

O'Neil ;)

PS: Yes it could be done

Are there 2 teams collecting points, or just the person who has the flag ? In other words: team vs team, or everybody vs 'IT'.

I remember there was a mode like this Outlaws that was called 'Kill the fool with the chicken'. *gg*  ;D

Teams get the points, seeing that its team effort to protect the flag/ball holder.
