NOOOOOOB QUESTIONS
« on: 16 Jul 2003, 06:31:51 »
I'm new to OFP. I bought it at release, but never played it. Anyway, now i realize the mission editor rullllles so i have many a question to ask.

Question 1: First of all, lets say i wanted to have a whole company of soldiers (100 troops) Could i have one guy, say a colonel, controlling everything as he would as a squad leader? if so, how?

Question 2: if i were at a command post and ordered an airstrike how would i get them to stop firing

1. You can only have 12 man in one team.
2. Have a look at the editors depot. ;D  8)

1. There's been that kind of editing going on in some circles.. It includes complex dialogs to move and control the units. http://mfcti.sourceforge.net/  There's the homepage of one of them. Get familiar with it.

2. Don't quite understand the question.
Not all is lost.

1.  There is a mod called Chain of Command (COC) which allows you to do things like this.   Check the Ed Depot or their own website.

2.   Learn about switch triggers, there's a tute in the Ed Depot and/or use the forum search function.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play
