Bush/tree/object names?
« on: 12 Jun 2003, 05:32:53 »
Hi all  8)

I want to make a function that finds the nearest object of almost any type (that could be used for cover/concealment). The problem with the "nearestobject" command is that you can only hunt for one specific type of object. I want to loop through a bunch of different objects of varying types, and then return the closest one. My only problem is that I don't know the names for objects such as bushes, trees, et.al., which are built into the map. Does anyone know these names? Or how to find them?

Thanks in advance for the help. There are soo many good scripts that could be made with this function, but I need to know the names of those objects first. Thanks again!

You only need to open up your editorupgrade, in Kegs editorupgrade v1.11s config.cpp there's classnames like AAA172 which is the BUSH Medium Section 3 ... they are named so. There's a load of work for you  :) Good luck.
